Flooding at Shelter Neck and Hurricane Florence Update from UU Congregations in Eastern NC

It looks as though the UU conference center at Shelter Neck suffered extensive flooding from Hurricane Florence but from what we’ve heard so far the UU church buildings in Greenville, Red Hill, Outlaws Bridge, New Bern, and Morehead City suffered no or very little damage and the UU Congregation of Wilmington’s home had some downed trees and limbs but no significant damage to its building.

Some, if not many, individual UUs in eastern North Carolina, of course, have been impacted by Hurricane Florence and the flooding it caused along with tens of thousands of others across eastern North Carolina.
