Close to Home: Stories from the Local Immigrant Experience

The UU Fellowship of Raleigh is sponsoring a powerful night of story telling, information sharing, and action with respect to Immigrant Justice on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm (3313 Wade Avenue, Raleigh).

The purpose of this forum is to increase personal awareness, encourage engagement, and increase impact by building coalitions.

You will hear compelling personal stories centered around the immigrant and refugee experience in our area focusing on current experience and challenges–DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), Persons in Sanctuary, Refugee Resettlement, and Family Separation by Deportation.

There is ample parking and refreshments will be provided.

Sharing is caring!
