UU Forward Together’s second Annual Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Eno River UU Fellowship, 4907 Garrett Rd, Durham, NC.
Our first annual gathering last fall was great and this one will be even better, featuring
- a video welcome message from UUA President Susan Frederick-Gray,
- a keynote workshop by Everette Thompson (UUA’s new Side with Love campaign manager),
- a plenary workshop on immigration justice led by Rachel Baker, the NC Council of Churches’ Immigration Advocacy Coordinator and Moises Serrano, Political Director of El Pueblo,
- worship,
- singing,
- lunch,
- networking opportunities for issue and identity groups,
- and more!
I will be representing Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America and the Be SMART program
