Christ the King Presbyterian Church
Immediately after the end of the HKonJ Moral March and Peoples Assembly, UUs and other social justice partners (including the Reeb Voting Rights Project of All Souls Unitarian Church in Washington, DC; Unitarian Universalists for Social Justice; and anyone who has come to the march as part of a community group including UUs) are invited and encouraged to gather at Christ the King Presbyterian Church (117 S. West Street in Raleigh–just a 5 1/2 block walk from Fayetteville Street from 12:30 to 2:30 pm to meet, greet, eat, worship, sing, and network with each other together and talk about how we’ll take HKonJ back to our congregations and communities and work to “give life the shape of justice” through witness, advocacy, and action during the coming year.
A light lunch (with plenty of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options) will be provided for those who have pre-registered (suggested donation $10) and UU Forward Together’s beautiful blue t-shirts will be on sale for only $17.50.
Please register before Feb. 6, 2019 if you’re planning on staying for the UU HKonJ Gathering after the march and rally. (Please note: You do not need to register if you’re coming to the HKonJ Moral March and Peoples Assembly but won’t be staying for the UU HKonJ Gathering from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.)
