Justice on Jones Street” is Forward Together’s first annual day of citizen lobbying and advocacy at the North Carolina General Assembly in Raleigh.

We’ll gather at Raleigh First Baptist Church (101 South Wilmington Street) at 9:00 am on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 to learn about the legislative process, get some tips on talking with state legislators, and learn about some of the issues and legislation that will be considered during the 2018 legislative session. Then we’ll walk a couple of blocks to the state legislative building, take a group photo, learn what’s where, eat lunch in the legislative cafeteria, and spend a couple of hours on Tuesday afternoon talking with our elected legislators.

Please register if you can come to Raleigh on May 22 and join us for Justice on Jones Street and email us if you can volunteer to help plan or organize this event.

And if you can’t come to Raleigh on May 22 you can still participate from home by calling or emailing your legislators on May 22 using information about the 2018 legislative session that is posted here.
